BIOGRAPHY

At birth Todd Watts was baptized and given last rites at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Manhattan. It was October 7, 1949. Surviving, his parents took him home to the Bronx. He lived there for sixteen years, close to the Yankee Stadium, where the windows of their apartment shook with every home run. In 1966, he left home for Manhattan.

At age 11, Watts received a scholarship to study art on weekends at Pratt University, which he did for two years. He then attended the High School of Music and Art; and, in 1971, he graduated from the School of Visual Arts.
